Yellowstone National Park

Go for a day trip and then come back for the night at The Chicory House Bed And Breakfast in Livingston, Montana. Yellowstone National Park is the flagship of the National Park Service and a favorite to millions of visitors each year.


The park is a major destination for all members of the family. By driving the Grand Loop Road, visitors can view the park from the comfort of their vehicle and also take a rest at one of the many roadside picnic areas.


For the active visitor, the park has thousands of miles of trails from day hikes to backcountry explorations. The main attractions are all located on the Grand Loop Road.

Livingston Roundup Rodeo

Every year on July 2, 3, and 4, the Livingston Roundup Rodeo sees top rodeo cowboys and cowgirls from across North America compete in multiple events. The Roundup brings the best saddle bronc riders, team ropers, and barrel racers, just to name a few. And don't forget the bull riders.

Lewis and Clark Caverns 

Montana's first and best-known state park showcases one of the most highly decorated limestone caverns in the Northwest. It is located just 93 miles west of The Chicory House Bed And Breakfast.


Naturally air-conditioned, these spectacular caves, lined with stalactites, stalagmites, columns, and helicities, date back through time. The hiking trails, rental cabins, and campground are open year-round; tours of the caverns are available from May 1-September 30.


Plan to spend a minimum of 2 hours to hike 2 miles on the guided tour through the caverns. The park also provides trails, a brand-new visitor center, amphitheater, picnic areas, large campground, showers, RV dump facilities, tipi, and three cabins.


Please be aware that the water is turned off from October 1-April 30, so flush toilets, showers, drinking water, and RV dump facilities are available only during the summer. Visit http://stateparks.mt.gov/lewis-and-clark-caverns/ for more information. 

Livingston Golf Course (LGC)

Situated along the Yellowstone River with panoramic views of the Absaroka and Crazy Mountains, Livingston Golf Course’s setting is one-of-a-kind, making the golf experience much more special.
